Head Instructor Abelardo Briones is a IBJJ and USJJ Federation Certified Black Belt under 5th Degree Black Belt Rolles Gracie (eldest son of the Legendary Rolles Gracie), multiple time East Coast IBJJF Master Division Champion, and 3rd Place winner in the Worlds Master purple belt in 2019.
Now teaching kids, teens, and adults, his primary method of approach is to use Brazilian JiuJitsu the “gentle art” as a primary martial art form to give students the confidence needed to defend themselves against larger and stronger opponents.
